Today, firefighters from East Lincoln County Fire and Rescue , Seal Rock Fire, and North Lincoln Fire Rescue trained together using the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) Mobile Fire Training Unit.

This 53-foot, propane-fueled live fire training unit travels throughout Oregon, providing career and volunteer firefighters with realistic, hands-on training in a safe, controlled environment. B

By bringing advanced training directly to local departments at no cost, DPSST helps ensure firefighters across the state have opportunities to build and maintain the skills needed to protect the communities they serve.

Today's training reinforced fireground tactics, strengthened interagency teamwork, and gave firefighters the opportunity to train together under realistic conditions.

Opportunities like this improve coordination between neighboring departments and help ensure a more effective response when our communities need us most.
